Well since you guys accept helped me immensely on my next hunting burglarize and telescopic, I figured I'd get your opinions on some scope rings/mounts. Once more, my new burglarize is a 308 b14 bergara for hunting and information technology volition have a Burris veracity two-10x42. Distances will be out to effectually 350 yards at max. I've been looking at some band prices and I've seen some precision rings from seekins in the $150ish range. I don't call back I quite need precision rings for a hunting rifle so i started looking at the vortex rings for around $seventy. Are these good rings? Do they require lapping? What are some other adept rings that you guys accept had experience with? As well, for a 308 should I stick with steel rings or go with a skilful set of aluminum? Thank you again!

The summit end Vortex rings (PMR) are in fact fabricated past Seekins. They are very nice and I accept ii sets of them.
You could too as well check out TPS rings. They accept them in steel and aluminum I believe.

Since you are not talking most crazy yardages, get a steel one piece base made for your rifle and either Burris or Leupold rings. 30mm rings are high but no need paying $150 for your intended purposes.

Vortex pro rings at $70. Don't need lapped and are actually nice. I have them on my new build and they are really overnice without breaking the bank.

Try a pair of these: I have a set from the aforementioned vendor for my 30mm Bushnell 3-12x44m LRHS and I've been very impressed by the fit, stop and utility of these sub-$100. band sets. Gun Dock has the best toll I've found on these particular items. In the past I've used Annoy, Seekins, Nightforce, TPS, Leupold MK4'southward and APA rings on my rifles. These Burris Signature XTR rings are the to the lowest degree I've spent in rings more 10 years, and they have delivered more than than their monies worth...

If you lot have a picatinny rail and are looking for more hunting type scope rings, endeavour Griffin Ammunition Orion Rings. I like the Orion Rings because they don't have any sharp edges and are extremely light.

Seekins, Vortex branded Seekins, and TPS are all bully options.
These I would propose also especially Seekins/Vortex PMR's. You can detect used ones on the forums for $85-100. Even new they are worth the money. Don't skimp on rings. They are low profile which ways less snagging on a hunting rig. Good luck.

I'k not into high dollar items, and make do with adequate products from skilful names, like these vortex-optics-30mm-tactical-picatinny-style-rings. As long as I'm not rolling in the dirt, and using the rifle for a battering ram, I get by pretty well.
